Fire Extinguisher Seminar
The half-day Fire Extinguisher Seminar teaches people how to use a portable fire extinguisher safely and effectively. The seminar is for employees of facilities who have portable fire extinguishers as part of their fire protection system in the City of Brantford.

To book a seminar, please complete the online request form with the following information.
- Contact name and phone number
- Name and address of organization
- Preferred date and time
- Site plan indicating where hands-on training will take place (if applicable)
- Number and names of attendees (if available)
Seminar cost and class size
There is a flat rate of $250.00 per class. We can run one class in the morning and one in the afternoon per day with a class size of 25 or less people. Each session takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.
Facility requirements and fire extinguishers
We need an area to teach the seminar's theory component with seating to accommodate the class size, access to a power supply, and an outdoor location for the hands-on component. Your facility must also provide the necessary portable fire extinguishers. We also provide a PowerPoint presentation at the beginning of the seminar. Please let us know if you have a projector and screen onsite. If not, we will provide.
We recommend the following for a class of 25 people:
- 10 dry chemical extinguishers (3A-10BC).
- 5 Carbon Dioxide extinguishers.
- 2 water extinguishers.
