Financial Assistance

The Child Care fee subsidy is financial assistance that covers all or part of the costs of child care for children up to 12 years of age in licensed programs. This includes:

  • Licensed child care
  • Licensed before and after school programs
  • Eligible summer camps (City of Brantford Summer Camps*, County of Brant Summer Camps, Boys & Girls Club Summer Camps, YMCA Summer Camps)

*Note that families who anticipate applying for Fee Subsidy to attend City of Brantford summer camps are to apply for Fee Subsidy prior to registering for camp.

Applying for licensed child care space is a separate process than applying for the child care fee subsidy.
