The City of Brantford’s Purchasing Division facilitates the strategic acquisition of goods, services and construction for the municipality through adherence to the City’s Purchasing Policy. We strive to obtain required goods and/or services for the City while achieving the best value through a transparent, fair and competitive process.

Code of Ethics

City staff are proud members of the Ontario Public Buyers Association (OPBA) and have adopted the OPBA code of ethics. We are also members of the Institute of Public Procurement (NIGP) and follow the NIGP code of ethics.

Bid Opportunities

The City is pleased to provide an online Bids Opportunity Portal where prospective bidders can create an account, view current bids and register as a plan taker.

Purchase Order Terms and Conditions

Unless otherwise stated, the City's purchase order terms and conditions form part of every purchase order issued by the City. Variations of the purchase order are not authorized unless approved by the City in writing.
