City of Brantford Civic Holiday schedule changes 2022

For the public’s information, the following schedule changes will be in place during the upcoming Civic Holiday on Monday, August 1, 2022.

The following facilities are open:

Brantford Lift: operating from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Brantford Transit: operating from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Earl Haig Family Fun Park: open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pools close at 8:00 p.m.
Garbage and Recycling Collection: no changes to regular pick-up
Landfill site: open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre:

Tourism Information Desk: open 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Indoor Track: 6:30 am to 10:00 pm
Fitness and Pool hours:
- 11:30 am to 4:00 pm - Weight Room open
- 11:30 am to 1:30 pm - Family Swim (65m shallow-end only) and Warm Water Pool open

- 11:30 am to 1:30 pm - Length Swim (25m pool and 65m pool mid-section and deep end only)
- 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Public Swim
Arena: open for scheduled rentals

The following City facilities are closed:

Bell Homestead NHS
Beckett Adult Leisure Centre
Branlyn Community Centre
Brantford Public Library
Brantford City Hall Customer Service (open for calls only)
Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre
Parking Enforcement Office
T.B. Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre
Woodman Park Community Centre
220 Colborne Street
