City of Brantford 2023 Labour Day schedule changes
BRANTFORD, ON – For the public’s information, the following schedule changes will be in place during the upcoming Labour Day Holiday on Monday, September 4, 2023. There are no changes to the collection of regularly scheduled garbage and recycling.
Brantford City Hall at 58 Dalhousie Street will be closed on Monday, September 4 and reopen on Tuesday, September 5 at 8:30 a.m.
Online services reminder
Many City services can be requested using one of our comprehensive online forms, that can be conveniently accessed on the City’s website at Brantford.ca/RequestService.
The following facilities and services will be operating on Monday, September 4, 2023:
- Earl Haig Family Fun Park: open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pools close at 5:30 p.m. (admission fees apply)
- Landfill site: open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Walter Gretzky Golf Course and Pro Shop: tee times begin at 7:00 a.m. with the last tee time at 6:30 p.m. Tee times can be booked online at Brantford.ca/Golf. The Pro Shop is also open from 6:30 a.m. to dusk.
- Wally’s Grill and Patio: everyone welcome to enjoy family-friendly fare from 10:00 a.m. to dusk (located at the Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course)
The following City facilities are closed:
- Bell Homestead NHS
- Beckett Adult Leisure Centre
- Branlyn Community Centre
- Brantford and District Civic Centre
- Brantford City Hall Customer Service (calls will be routed to an after-hours provider)
- Brantford Lift: no service
- Brantford Public Library (Main Branch and St. Paul Branch)
- Brantford Transit: no service
- Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre
- Lions Park Arena
- Parking Enforcement Office
- T.B. Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre
- Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre (including Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition and Discover Brantford Desk)
- Woodman Park Community Centre
- 220 Colborne Street
