The City of Brantford hosts SIN card clinics

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is pleased to host a series of Social Insurance Number (SIN) card clinics in partnership with Service Canada. The New Canadian SIN card clinics are for new Canadians living in Brantford within the last 10 years. The YOUth clinic is available for those aged 11 to 25 living in Brantford.

“The City of Brantford and the Brantford Immigration Partnership are pleased to partner with Service Canada to offer this important service for youth and new Canadians,” says Rosemary Whitehouse, Manager of Community Partnerships for the City of Brantford. “The clinics offer an opportunity for people to apply and ask questions about getting a SIN card which is required to work in Canada.”

New Canadian clinics are available at St. Leonard’s Community Services, located at 133 Elgin Street, on November 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and November 29 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. They are also available at the Brantford Public Library, located at 173 Colborne Street, on December 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and December 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Drop-in to a location during designated hours, or register in advance by emailing bip@brantford.ca. Representatives from Brantford Public Library and St. Leonard’s Community Services will be available to provide helpful information on additional services available.

A YOUth clinic is available for youth ages 11 to 25 on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodman Park Community Centre, located at 491 Grey Street.
