Brantford, ON – Residents are invited to be part of the neighbourhood playground decision making process. The City of Brantford is seeking feedback from residents to help inform the playground renovation projects for Devereux Park, 401 Wellington Street, Iroquois Park, 132 Victoria Street, Pace Avenue Park, 66 Pace Avenue and Silverbridge Park, 75 Dante Crescent. Residents can have their say for each playground at www.LetsTalkBrantford.ca/PlaygroundDecisionMaking until Sunday, January 15, 2023.

“It’s very important for us to ensure each playground captures the needs of the neighbourhood,” says Hana Abdulla, Coordinator of Parks Design and Development, City of Brantford. “Plans are on track for residents to start enjoying the new play equipment when they are completed in Fall 2023.”

Each new park will feature additional trees, new playground equipment, accessible and paved pathways, wood chip safety surfacing under play areas and new benches.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the survey to have their say at www.LetsTalkBrantford.ca/PlaygroundDecisionMaking. Surveys will be open until Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Results of voting on the selected playground designs for each park will be shared after the survey closes on the City’s social media channels. Each park is planned to open and be ready for play in Fall 2023.
