Temporary lane closure on the Lorne Bridge

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford will be conducting essential structural inspections on the Lorne Bridge (Colborne Street West crossing the Grand River) during the week of October 23, 2023.

To facilitate these inspections, one traffic lane and one sidewalk over the Lorne Bridge will be temporarily closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, through Thursday, October 26. Please plan your travel accordingly during these times.

We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary lane closure may cause. We sincerely appreciate the understanding and patience of the public as we work diligently to enhance Brantford’s infrastructure.
