Stuff the Bus, Brantford! Surpasses 2021 donations
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford in partnership with Brantford Fire, Hot Country 93.9, Seventh Coffee Co., FreshCo and the Brantford Food Bank, invited residents to stuff a Brantford Transit bus with donations for the food bank on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the FreshCo parking lot located at 50 Market Street. We are pleased to share that the event was a huge success with a total of 3,223 lbs of food and cash donations, well surpassing the City’s 2021 efforts of 2,415 lbs.
“We are very grateful to the City of Brantford and Brantford Fire for once again organizing this event and bringing the community together to support those most in need,” says Heather Vanner, Executive Director of Community Resource Service. “A big thank you goes out to each and every person who came out to the event. Your donation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.”
The Brantford Food Bank provides emergency food assistance to food insecure individuals throughout the community. They accept food or monetary donations year-round. Please visit crs-help.ca/foodbank to learn more.
