Scott Pipe named Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Brantford
BRANTFORD, ON – Brantford Fire Chief Todd Binkley is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Pipe as Deputy Fire Chief of the Brantford Fire Department, effective January 4, 2021.
Reporting to the Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief Pipe is responsible for overseeing the Suppression, Professional Standards and Qualifications, and Fleet and Facilities Divisions. Deputy Fire Chief Pipe will work alongside Deputy Fire Chief Anna Everett, who is responsible for Fire Prevention, Communications and Emergency Management.
Throughout his 18 years of service, Deputy Fire Chief Pipe has risen through the ranks, serving many positions including Firefighter, Fire Prevention Officer, Assistant Fire Chief Manager of Operations and most recently Deputy Fire Chief for the Norfolk County Fire Department.
Deputy Fire Chief Pipe’s appointment follows the completion of the recruitment process to fill the vacancy due to the recent promotion of Fire Chief Todd Binkley, which took effect August 25, 2020.
Deputy Chief Pipe begins his new role on January 4, 2021.
