Road Line Painting
Road lines and symbols update project to resume May 20, 2020
In an ongoing effort to make our roadways safer for drivers, beginning on Wednesday, May 20, the City of Brantford will continue a project to update roadway lines and symbols throughout the community, starting with the city’s residential areas.
The paint trucks and accompanying pick up trucks will require space on the main roads so we ask drivers to avoid crossing the lines in close proximity to the trucks as much as possible.
In residential areas, cones will be used to notify drivers that arrows, stop bars or pedestrian crossings have been painted. Please exercise caution around paint crews to ensure their and your safety.
Pending weather conditions, the process is expected to take approximately 6-8 weeks.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we work to make necessary improvements to the roads in our community.
