Reinvent yourself with best-selling author and entrepreneur Arlene Dickinson at the Sanderson Centre
BRANTFORD, ON – The Brantford-Brant Business Resource Enterprise Centre (BRC) in partnership with Ladies Who Lead and Cornerstone Capital Financial Group, is pleased to present Arlene Dickinson: Reinvention at the Sanderson Centre for Performing Arts on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
Widely known as the “Dragon with a heart” on CBC’s award-winning series Dragons’ Den, Arlene Dickinson has shattered glass ceilings while discovering her rhythm for success in business and life. Arlene’s book Reinvention discusses her blueprint for locating your sense of purpose, realistically evaluating your strengths, assessing opportunities outside your comfort zone, and charting a new path.
Although Reinvention is aimed at business owners, Dickinson says it works for anyone in a rut. It’s about using self-awareness to figure out your skills — what she calls “the secret sauce” — and clarifying your core purpose. The final steps require understanding the market and your currency in it, creating a strategy to reach your goals and finally “saying it out loud,” or communicating it to the world.
At age 57, Arlene’s company was on the brink of disaster but five years later business was booming, and she had never been happier or more excited about the future. Any successful venture has to start with having a clear set of practical steps and applying business principals to transform your personal life. Whether you have a big career dream to achieve, or you need to rebuild after a personal setback, we all have the power to change our own lives for the better.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to join Arlene for an intimate evening of inspiration and community as she discusses her book Reinvention and how to make positive changes in your life. Tickets are $75 and available at ladieswholead.ca or by calling the Sanderson Centre box office at 519-758-8090. Proceeds from this event will help support Nova Vita Brantford and the Brantford Community Healthcare System.
Thank you to platinum sponsors Oak House Benefits, Eucalan, Brolly Group and West Brant Window World who helped make this event possible.
