Notice of passing a by-law to designate 53 Charlotte Street, Brantford as a property of Cultural Heritage Value or Interest, pursuant to Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18 (as amended)
Take Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Brantford has passed By-law 27-2025 on March 25, 2025, to designate 53 Charlotte Street, Brantford as a property of cultural heritage value or interest pursuant to Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal
Take Notice that in accordance with Subsection 29(11) of the Ontario Heritage Act, any person who objects to the By-law may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal by giving the Tribunal and the City Clerk, within thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this Notice of the By-law’s passing on the City’s website, a Notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by the fee charged by the Tribunal. Notices of appeal to the By-law must be received by 4:30 pm, on or before April 28, 2025.
