Healthy Kids Passport to Health offers March Break Family Fun

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is excited to announce the return of the Healthy Kids Passport to Health from Saturday, March 11 to Sunday, March 26, 2023. The passport program, which is in its 8th year, offers over 50 FREE activities for children ages 0 to 14 at local organizations and businesses in Brantford.

Activities include pottery, robotics, pickleball, dance and woodworking. Kids can participate in as many activities as they want, however, space may be limited and pre-registration is required for some activities. A physical passport postcard must be presented when attending activities. The postcards are being distributed to families through local schools and will be available at the following locations as of Wednesday, March 1, 2023:

  • Customer Service Desk at Brantford City Hall, 58 Dalhousie St.
  • Branlyn Community Centre, 238 Brantwood Park Rd.
  • Brantford Public Library Main Branch, 173 Colborne St
  • Brantford Public Library St Paul Branch, 441 St. Paul Ave
  • Customer Service Desk at Brantford City Hall, 58 Dalhousie St.
  • Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre, 333 Erie Ave.
  • EarlyON Centres within the City of Brantford
  • T.B. Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre, 16 Morrell St.
  • Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, 254 N Park St.
  • Woodman Park Community Centre, 491 Grey St.

Digital versions of the postcards are also available to download and print at home at Brantford.ca/HealthyKids. To view the full calendar of activities, visit Brantford.ca/HealthyKids with required registration for select activities to open at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

This year’s program also includes the chance to win prizes for participants who submit photos of themselves participating in Passport activities. The grand prize is a $400 City of Brantford Recreation Gift Certificate that can be used to participate in swim lessons, registered or drop-in programs, day camps and more. Participants also have chance to win one of six additional $100 gift cards.

The photo contest and Passport launch on Saturday, March 11 and close on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Winners will randomly be drawn on Thursday, March 30, 2023. For details on how to enter the photo contest, including contest rules, please visit Brantford.ca/HealthyKids.
