Filming Notice: October 15-19, 2024

Recognizing how welcoming film contributes to short-term economic investment, cultural development, and civic pride in the community, the City of Brantford Economic Development, Tourism & Cultural Initiatives Department is pleased to host the cast and crew of Underbelly.

They will be filming exterior scenes at 769 Colborne Street (Mohawk Motel).

Crews will conduct preparation, filming, and wrap-up activities at the noted location daily from Friday, October 11 to Monday, October 21.

• Intermittent Traffic Closures on Colborne are set to occur on October 15 to October 19.
• Cast and crew will park on private property.
• Mock weapons will be used along with squibs (tiny explosive devices on actors to simulate impact wounds).
• Waste collection on Tuesday along Colborne will be coordinated during traffic stoppages.

The production will notify affected residents and businesses in the area. Residents and businesses displaced can reach out to the contact identified at the bottom of the circulated notification letter.
