Filming Notice - October 15-16, 22-23 & 27-28, 2022

The City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism Department is pleased to welcome the cast and crew of Maybe This Time. They will be filming exterior scenes at Queen St. and Nelson St. (October 15-16), interior and exterior scenes at the Sanderson Centre (October 22), interior scenes at 235 Market St. (October 23) and interior scenes at 399 Wayne Gretzky Pkwy. (October 27-28).

Maybe This Time is the story of a timid, closeted teen who inherits her estranged father’s journal, uncovering his secret life.

The film crew will engage in setup, filming, and wrap-up activities on the dates at the locations noted above. A moving small basecamp will be within these areas or on private property.

Anticipated Impacts

  • Road Closure (local traffic only but no through traffic) on Nelson St. (King to Market) and Queen St. (Chatham to Darling) from 7:00 am on October 15 to 10:00 pm on October 16.
• October 22
  • Parking Lane Occupancy on Darling St. (south side from Queen to Market) and Dalhousie St. between Market and Queen (north lane starting just past SC Johnson building to alleyway between east of City Hall; and south lane (the portion north of Harmony Square)
  • Intermittent Traffic Closure on Dalhousie St. at Market St. from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm on October 22. Expect delays.
