Filming Notice - October 12-14, 2022
The City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism Department is pleased to welcome the cast and crew of Undercover Holiday. They will be filming exterior scenes along Dalhousie St. (George St. to Market St.) and George Street (Darling St. to Dalhousie St.).
This film follows a pop star returning home for the holidays where she rebuilds lost friendships, discovers love and evades an unwanted fan.
The film crew will setup on Wednesday, October 12, with filming to happen on Thursday, October 13 and wrap up on Friday, October 14. Basecamp is set to be at the Civic Centre.
Anticipated Impacts
- Road and sidewalk closure on George St. including east and west side walks from Darling St. to Dalhousie St., and intermittent sidewalk closures on the north side of Dalhousie St. (George St. to Market St.) from 7 am on October 12 to 8 pm on October 14. Pedestrians will be able to access the sidewalks when it is safe to do so as noted by production crews.
- Parking lane occupancy on Dalhousie St. including north and south side walks from George St. to Market St. from 7 am on October 12 to 8 pm on October 14. Pedestrians will be able to access the sidewalk on the south side of Dalhousie St. when it is safe to do so as noted by production crew
- Sidewalk closure on the north sidewalk of Dalhousie St. from George St. to Market St. and the east sidewalk of Market St. from Darling St. to Dalhousie St. closed from 7 am on October 13 to 2 am on October 14.
- Lane Closure on the north lane of Dalhousie St. from George St. to Market St. from 7 am on October 13 to 2 am on October 14.
- Intermittent Traffic Controls on Dalhousie St. just east of George St. will occur from 7 am on October 13 to 2 am on October 14. Expect delays.
- Dalhousie St. and George St. will be decorated in winter holiday looks including artificial snow.
- A noise exemption permit is being obtained from the City to allow filming activities after 11 pm.
- Lighting will also be erected on the corner of Market St. and Dalhousie St. to illuminate the north sidewalk on Dalhousie St. to George St.
