Community invited to stay cool during Brantford Fire’s Hot Summer Nights

BRANTFORD, ON – The Brantford Fire Department is pleased to announce the return of Hot Summer Nights, a series of free events throughout July for families that includes a fire truck sprinkler, freezies, and the opportunity to learn about fire safety.

“We look forward to offering these exciting and educational programs to families throughout the City,” says Brantford Fire Chief, Todd Binkley. “With the weather heating up, this is the perfect way to cool off and learn about fire safety.”

Hot Summer Nights includes a fire truck sprinkler and free freezies for attendees while quantities last. Fire Prevention staff will also be available to educate families about fire safety. The first event is Wednesday, June 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Princess Anne Park, 17 Helen Ave. Additional events will take place Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • July 2nd at Tutela Park, 160 Erie Ave
  • July 9th at Bridle Path Park, 55 Palomino Dr
  • July 16th at Centennial Park, 39 Ellenson Dr
  • July 23rd at Devon Down Park, 70 Abigail Ave
  • July 30th at Warner-Merritt Park, 39 Warner Ln
