City of Brantford debit and credit payment notice for July 30, 2024

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford would like to inform residents and visitors that effective today, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, until further notice, payments using debit and credit cards cannot be accepted at some City facilities due to a recent update to a third-party site. City staff are working with the vendor to fix the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, please be advised that cash payments will be accepted.

The following facilities are currently accepting cash only payments:

  • Beckett Recreation Centre, 219 Colborne Street
  • Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre, 333 Erie Avenue
  • Earl Haig Family Fun Park, 101 Market Street South
  • T.B.Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre, 16 Morrell Street
  • Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, 254 North Park Street
  • Woodman Community Centre and Pool, 491 Grey Street

The following facilities continue to accept debit and credit card payments:

  • Brantford City Hall, 58 Dalhousie Street
  • Brantford Transit Main Terminal, 64 Darling Street
  • Bell Homestead National Historic Site, 94 Tutela Heights Road
  • Discover Brantford Desk, 254 North Park Street
  • Walter Gretzky Golf Course and Learning Centre and Wally’s Grill and Patio, 320 Balmoral Drive

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to fix the issue as soon as possible. We will provide an update when the issue resolved.
