BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford celebrates the month of June as Recreation, Parks and Seniors Month, offering a wide variety of free and low-cost activities that promises fun and fitness for all ages. From June 1 to 30, 2024, residents can enjoy an array of events at various city facilities, designed to boost your health and enhance our community spirit.

Dive into the fun with free fitness classes including yoga and Aquafit, or join the energetic atmosphere in our drop-in sports sessions such as basketball, pickleball, ice-skating and more. Older adults can look forward to free activities like carpet bowling, darts and euchre.

Younger residents can participate in free programming such as Kids Night Out and Dodgemania, Offering more than just play, these programs create lasting memories in the safe and welcoming spaces of our city’s recreation facilities.

Each June, communities across Ontario celebrate June is Recreation and Parks Month as a way of promoting the benefits of being active and recognizing the contribution that recreation and parks make to the quality of life for its residents.
