City launches Green Bin to Win contest on November 1

BRANTFORD, ON – Green Bin collection begins on Wednesday, November 1 and to encourage participation the City of Brantford is launching a Green Bin to Win contest. The contest runs from November 1 to 29, 2023 and residents will be asked to participate in a task each week to raise awareness about how to properly use the Green Bin.

Residents are invited to share the positive impact they are making on our environment by using the Green Bin. Participants have the chance to win one of four weekly prizes of a $100 City of Brantford Recreation gift card. All entries throughout the month will also be entered to win a grand prize of a $500 City of Brantford Recreation gift card.

To enter, visit LetsTalkBrantford.ca/GreenBintoWin to review the new task each Wednesday in November at 9 a.m. Participants can subscribe to the project page to receive updates when a new task is announced or follow the City of Brantford on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates. The first task will be announced on November 1 with entries being accepted until November 7, 2023. The second task will be announced on November 8 and run until November 14. The third task launches on November 15 with entries being accepted until November 21. The final task will be announced on November 22 and entries will be accepted until November 29 when the contest will officially close.
