Brantford’s Fun Fest offers free family-friendly activities on March 22

BRANTFORD, ON – Brantford’s Fun Fest returns! After being postponed due to inclement weather, this exciting event has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2025, bringing a wide variety of free, family-friendly activities to the heart of downtown Brantford from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Brantford’s Fun Fest is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a day of activities right in the heart of our city,” says Ward 2 Councillor Gino Caputo. “We look forward to welcoming residents and visitors for a celebration filled with music, entertainment and community spirit.”
Everyone is welcome to join a full day of activities at Harmony Square, 89 Dalhousie Street, where there will be plenty of activities for all ages. Enjoy a free DJ skate party, presented by Grisson Bon Ltd., carousel rides, s’mores by fire pits, face painting and more. A hot chocolate station, courtesy of Conestoga College, will provide a warm treat, while horse-drawn trolley rides through downtown will be available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for just $2 per person. The event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 7:15 p.m.
As part of Brantford’s Fun Fest, Wilfrid Laurier University is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Brantford with a Purple and Gold Party at One Market at 1 Market Street. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., this family-friendly event will feature free, fun activities for all ages, including bouncy castles, face painting, games such as giant Jenga and Connect 4, corn hole, mini-putt, entertainment, and complimentary cupcakes, while supplies last. Guests are asked to enter through the doors at the corner of Dalhousie Street and Market Street.

Road Closures and Parking
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, Colborne Street from Brant Avenue to Bain Street and Water Street/Wharf Street will be closed from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Brantford Fun Fest event. Parking is free in the municipal parking garage located at 59 Icomm Drive.
