Brantford Celebrates National Public Works Week

The City of Brantford is proud to recognize National Public Works Week this week to spotlight the hard work and dedication of the Public Works professionals on #TeamBrantford. This year marks the 60th Annual National Public Works Week and provides an opportunity to recognize the substantial contributions these professionals make to protect and enhance our community’s health, safety, and quality of life each and every day.

From managing curbside waste collection to operating water and wastewater treatment plants, to road construction, snow removal, traffic, park maintenance and public playgrounds, Public Works professionals do essential work that helps to keep our city running smoothly, and ensure the protection, delivery, and safety of our community’s most valuable resources.

These services could not be provided without the dedicated efforts of our accomplished Public Works Directors, Managers and employees, who are responsible for maintaining, rebuilding, improving and protecting our City’s transportation, water supply, water treatment and solid waste systems, public buildings, and other essential services for residents.

Please join us in giving thanks to City of Brantford Public Works frontline workers and all the behind the scenes staff who work tirelessly to keep Brantford moving and our roads and water safe every day, especially during these uncertain times.
