Excitement builds for Brantford’s Fun Fest

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford’s Fun Fest is fast approaching! Taking place Saturday, March 22, 2025, this event promises to be a day filled with free, family-friendly entertainment for all to enjoy. Due to warmer temperatures, the DJ Skate will now feature roller skating instead of ice skating. We invite residents to join us for a fun-filled day in downtown Brantford from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Don’t miss the spectacular fireworks display, now scheduled for 8 p.m.
The fun begins in Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street) where attendees can enjoy free carousel rides, a DJ Skate, s’mores by fire pits, face painting and more, weather permitting. Tasty hot chocolate will be available, while supplies last, courtesy of Conestoga College. Take a horse-drawn trolley ride through downtown, between 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for $2 per person, sponsored by Grisson Bon Ltd. The event will conclude with a spectacular firework display at 8 p.m. Onsite registration is required for roller skating. Skate rentals are available for $10 per pair, or attendees are invited to bring their own skates.
As part of Brantford’s Fun Fest, and in celebration of Wilfrid Laurier University 25th anniversary in Brantford, guests are also invited to enjoy a Purple and Gold Party at One Market at 1 Market Street. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., this family-friendly event will feature free, fun activities for all ages, including bouncy castles, face painting, games such as giant Jenga and Connect 4, corn hole, mini-putt, entertainment, and complimentary cupcakes, while supplies last. Guests are asked to enter through the doors at the corner of Dalhousie Street and Market Street.
