City of Brantford issues Call for Artists for Culture Days on the Trails 2025

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is inviting local performers and artists from Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations of the Grand River, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation to take part in this year’s Culture Days on the Trails event. Singers, dancers, poets, spoken word artists, musicians, theatre performers and live painters are encouraged to submit a proposal to showcase their talents. Culture Days on the Trails will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. along a section of the SC Johnson Trail.
During the event, artists will be stationed along a beautiful 2.6-kilometre stretch of trail between Hardy Road parking lot and Lafayette Avenue, which overlooks the Grand River and runs behind Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant and the Brantford Golf and Country Club. Attendees will be invited to walk along the trail and enjoy several mini concerts and performances. Artists will be compensated $250 for the three-hour performance time. The rain date for this event will be Sunday, September 21, 2025.
