Celebrate the holiday season at Brantford's Parade After Party

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford invites the community to celebrate the holiday season at the annual Parade After Party proudly presented by the Brant Animal Aid Foundation in Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street). Festivities begin following the 48^th annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 30, 2024. The event starts with an official tree lighting ceremony, followed by free family-friendly activities with treats and special meet and greets with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the Snow Sisters.

“The City is extremely grateful for the generosity and support received from the Animal Aid Foundation and many additional local partners and sponsors that bring this free event to the community,” says Jennifer Middleton, Special Events Supervisor for the City of Brantford. “We look forward to welcoming everyone as they create lasting memories with families and friends.”

Residents are invited to the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony with Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis, Town Crier David McKee and Harmony Squirrel followed by free activities including a meet and greet and keepsake photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. Ring in the season with a live musical performance by the Glass Slipper Company’s favourite duo, the Snow Sisters followed by a meet and greet. Enjoy free face painting, carnival treats, and free hot chocolate provided by Tim Hortons. Stilt Walker Guinness World Records holder Doug “The Great” Hunt will also be in attendance. Be sure to bring your letters to Santa. All letters with a return address can expect to receive a response in return.

The following roads will be closed for the parade: Dalhousie Street from Stanley Street to King Street, and Colborne Street from King Street to Clarence Street.There will also be additional closures for parade staging. Santa Claus Parade

The Santa Claus Parade is organized by Freedom House and presented by GrandBridge Energy. The parade will make its way downtown Brantford from Dalhousie Street at 6 p.m. starting at Stanley Street, and will end at Harmony Square where the annual Parade After Party will begin. The public is encouraged to line the streets early to save a spot for optimal viewing.
