Applications now open for Fall 2024 City of Brantford Grants Program

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford and the Brant Community Foundation invite non-profit organizations and individuals to submit applications for grant funding. Grant applications should demonstrate community benefit, alignment with local needs and organizational and financial accountability.

“The City of Brantford is pleased to launch the Fall 2024 City Grants Program in support of local non-profit organizations,” says City of Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “I look forward to seeing the positive impact these projects and initiatives will have in our community.”

Funded from the City’s revenue sharing agreement with OLG Casino Brantford and administered by the Brant Community Foundation, grants are intended for qualifying non-profit organizations and individuals based on specific grant stream criteria.

Grant streams include:

  • Operational Stream: Up to $10,000 for applications that support or expand existing projects that improve community and/or individual well-being.
  • Capital/Start-Up Stream: Up to $15,000 for applications that launch new projects aimed at improving community and/or individual wellbeing.
  • Event Stream: Up to $5,000 for applications that propose to host new or recurring community events.

The deadline for Fall 2024 City Grants applications is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Through this grant program, the City of Brantford is committed to facilitating opportunities to enhance community wellbeing through support of arts, culture, heritage, recreation, the environment, and health and human services.
