Summer Day Camps

Registration for the following 2025 Summer Day Camps begins at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at www.Brantford.ca/ACTIVEnet.

Keep your kids happy this summer with our action-packed day camps featuring games, activities, crafts and special themed-days. Free extended care is available for all day camps from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Day Camp Forms must be filled out prior to dropping off your child at the camp. Questions? 2025 Summer Day Camps

Woodman Park Community Centre Summer Day Camp (ages 4 to 6)

Location: Woodman Park Community Centre, 491 Grey Street

Camp will include games, activities, crafts, special theme days and more! This camp swims weekly at Woodman Pool, weather permitting. Free extended care is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Bell Homestead National Historic Site Summer Day Camps (ages 4 to 11)

Location: Bell Homestead NHS, 94 Tutela Heights Road

Join us for lots of summer fun where the telephone was invented 150 years ago! Learn about Alexander Graham Bell while playing games, making crafts, cooking up tasty treats, doing experiments, and creating inventions. Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Summer Day Camps (ages 6 to 13)

Location: Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, 254 North Park Street

We offer a wide variety of fun activities for your kids including themed games, crafts, swimming, awesome trips and outdoor activities. Your kids will have a blast getting top meet new friends and hanging out with our fun camp staff. Free extended care is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Trip fees are included in the cost. Your child must attend the trip or stay home that day from camp.

Youth Leadership Development Programs (ages 13 to 16)

This is the City of Brantford’s leader-in-training program. Each level is a two week program. This takes place at Woodman Park Community Centre, located at 491 Grey Street

In Level One, your first week is in-class training and then you will pick a 30-hour volunteer placement at one of our City-run day camps to show off your new skills.

In Level Two, you will continue to develop your leadership skills for recreation and get your First-Aid CPR Level C from the Canadian Red Cross. Then you will complete a 40-hour volunteer placement at one of our City-run day camps. You must take Level 1 to register for Level 2.

You will also get volunteer hours for high school and if you complete both levels a special certificate from the Mayor’s office. There is no extended care with this program.

Important information for day camps

Bring a lunch including snacks and a refillable water bottle, hat and sunscreen to camp each day. (Some sites do have Snack Shack available)
Please bring both indoor and outdoor running shoes and outdoor appropriate clothing. Children will be playing outdoors throughout the week.
Parents are required to sign-in and sign-out their child(ren). Photo ID is required at the time of pick-up.
Please do not send your child(ren) to the camp or program if they feeling unwell.
