HipFest

The popular outdoor rock concert HipFest returns on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to celebrate the music and legacy of The Tragically Hip. This event is presented by Millards Chartered Professional Accountants. Attendees are invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live music performed by Practically Hip, with local artisan and food vendors.

Established in Southern Ontario in 1997, Practically Hip has been performing the music its members love for over 20 years at clubs, festivals, universities and colleges, and private events throughout North America and beyond. The band is passionate about the material and especially passionate about capturing the nuances and spirit of the original performances. You will be amazed by the vocal ability and sheer stage presence of Dean Hughes as he interprets and recreates the full Gord Downie experience, all as part of a phenomenal five-piece band which gives its audiences the highest level of energy and musicianship the Hip is known for! See for yourself the performance that embodies all the best of the Hip and leaves audiences raving everywhere.

Support local at the on-site marketplace where a variety of vendors and artisans will be selling a variety of goodies. Parking and transit

Free parking is available on Saturday at the Market Centre Parkade located at 59 Icomm Drive. Brantford Transit is also available to attendees looking for transportation to Harmony Square with the main terminal conveniently located only one block away.
