Culture Days on the Trails
The City of Brantford is looking for singers, dancers, poets, spoken word artists, musicians, theatre performers, and live painters to submit their proposals to showcase their skills at this year’s Culture Days on the Trails event on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 9, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. Apply now.
Trail Mix
Musicians from Brantford, County of Brant and Six Nations of the Grand River are invited to apply online to be considered for inclusion in the 2025 iteration of Trail Mix. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 28, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. The Trail Mix 2025 playlist will be released on National Trails Day on June 1, 2025. Apply now.

Parkette Mural
The City of Brantford seeks to commission a muralist or mural collective to create a mural on the west wall of the Brantford Public Library (173 Colborne Street) in late summer/early fall of 2024. This mural is part of a larger project to create a community performance stage to enhance community wellbeing and create space for live music in the downtown core, while also beatifying and developing an under-utilized space. This mural will create a visual element and backdrop for the artists performing on the new stage. Closed for applications.
Phil Hartman Mural
The City of Brantford seeks to commission a muralist or mural artist collective to create a mural artwork on the east wall of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts building (88 Dalhousie St., Brantford) to honour the late Phil Hartman, a well-known and tremendously gifted screen and voice actor, comedian, screenwriter and graphic designer. Call for Youth Artists
Brantford youth (ages 15-25) are invited to perform/share their artwork at the 2024 Brantford Youth Excellence Awards happening on Tuesday, May 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Rope Factory. Musicians are requested to perform two acoustic songs (this can include brass, wind, string, and singer-songwriter styles). Visual artists can display up to two pieces of art, either pre-printed and framed or on a canvas that can be hung. Selected youth will be provided a $50 gift card and are invited to sell merchandise and promote their art at a table during the event. Closed for applications.
Little Free Libraries™ Public Art Project – Call for Artists
The Corporation of the City of Brantford is seeking community members to submit proposals to decorate a Little Free Library. The Little Free Libraries™ will be installed on municipally owned, publicly accessible property. Closed for applications.
