Movies in the Square

Join us Thursdays from July 10 to August 28, 2025 for Movies in the Square in Harmony Square, 58 Dalhousie Street. Don't miss the fun pre-show activities followed by a movie on the big screen generously donated by Millards Chartered Professional Accountants, Enterprise Brant, Downtown Brantford BIA and Conestoga College. Movies begin at dusk. Be sure to bring a lawn chair and blanket.

Popcorn, drinks and other goodies can be purchased on site at the Downtown Central Neighbourhood Association booth. All proceeds go towards Gifts of the Heart. Help our community by contributing a non-perishable food item each week, as we unite to combat hunger and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need in our community. Additional donations can be made on-site at the concession booth or at gofundme.com.

  • Thursday, July 17, 2025: Migration. Come dressed as your favourite migratory animal or traveller!
  • Thursday, July 24, 2025: Inside Out 2. Embrace your emotions and dress as your favourite Inside Out 2 character—let’s get colourful and spirited!
  • Thursday, July 31, 2025: Elemental. Get creative with the elemental wonders of the planet; earth, air, fire, and water. Sponsored by: Lansdowne. Pre-show entertainment by Lansdowne.
  • Thursday, August 7, 2025: DC League of Super Pets. Dress as your favourite animal. Sponsored by: Brantford Fire. Pre-show entertainment by Wee Watch starts at 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 17, 2025: Moana 2. Come dress as your favourite Disney Princess or Prince as we watch the next part of Moana’s journey.
  • Thursday, August 21, 2025: Mufasa: Lion King. Roar into the wild—come dressed as a lion or your favourite jungle creature.
  • Thursday, August 28, 2025: Wicked (Part 1). Step into the magical world of Oz—dress as your favourite witch or wizard.

Contest

Follow us on Facebook to answer the weekly trivia poll. The winner will receive VIP treatment, two drinks and two bags of popcorn donated by Downtown Central Neighbourhood Association and front row Muskoka Chairs.

If the movie is cancelled, there is no carry over for the front row seats; you will still receive two drinks and two bags of popcorn.
