City of Brantford city facilities 2024 Victoria Day holiday schedules

BRANTFORD, ON – For the public’s information, the following schedule changes will be in place during the upcoming Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 20, 2024. There will be no changes to regularly scheduled garbage, recycling and green bin collection. The Mohawk Street Landfill site will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Brantford City Hall and Customer Service

Brantford City Hall and Customer Service will be closed at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024 and reopen on Tuesday, May 21 at 8:30 a.m. While closed, all customer service calls will be routed to the City’s after-hours provider.

Brantford Transit and Brantford Lift

The following facilities are closed on Monday May 20, 2024:

Beckett Recreation Centre: closed
Bell Homestead NHS: closed
Branlyn Community Centre: closed
Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition (located within the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre): closed
Brantford and District Civic Centre: closed
Brantford Public Library (Main Branch and St. Paul Branch): closed
Discover Brantford Desk (located within the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre): closed
Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre: closed
Lions Park Arena: closed
Parking Enforcement Office (located in City Hall): closed
T.B. Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre: closed
Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre: closed
Woodman Park Community Centre: closed
Ontario Works Brantford – Brant Main Office at 225 Colborne Street (relocated from 220 Colborne Street): closed
