Community Engagement
We recognize the importance of involving citizens in the development of policy, programs and services and are committed to ensuring there is a range of opportunities for the community to become knowledgeable about local government and actively involved in civic life.
It is important that our policies, programs and the decisions of Council reflect the diverse voices, ideas and opinions of our community.
The City's Community Involvement Framework is based on an inclusive, open process in which no specific outcomes are pre-determined but rather are the result of collaboration between Council, City staff and our constituents. We pride ourselves on providing a clear, open, respectful, fair and transparent process to collect and report public feedback.
Please view our Community Calendar to see current public engagement opportunities and join the conversation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
