The Brantford Immigration Partnership (BIP) is a dedicated group of community partners who are working to ensure that the City of Brantford continues to be a welcoming and inclusive community for all.

The BIP’s overall goal is to see that all immigrants to our community feel a sense of belonging and are able to succeed and participate in the economic, social, civic, and cultural growth of our city.

Are you passionate about making Brantford an even better place for everyone? Then we encourage you to get involved with BIP by becoming a member of the Network, and stay informed about this important initiative by subscribing to our News page.

BIP Action Plan

The 2022 BIP Action Plan reflects the collective commitment of BIP partners to the success and prosperity of new immigrants. Members of the BIP Advisory Council and BIP Network have identified key opportunities to enhance and increase accessible services, events, and programs for newcomers. Inclusive Community Plan

In June 2023, Brantford City Council unanimously adopted the Inclusive Community Plan, which was endorsed by over 30 community organizations, and is based on three guiding principles: Learn from Each Other, Stand up for Each Other, and Celebrate Each Other. The Inclusive Community Plan was developed in partnership with the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Social Work, and represents the input and feedback from a wide range of community stakeholders and subject matter experts.
