Welcome to the Earl Haig Community Garden! This community garden was established in 2017. We are proud to share that it is the largest and most centralized community garden as part of our program here in brantford.

Garden volunteers tend to 72 raised garden beds filled with vegetables to enjoy all season long. There is a storage shed which houses garden tools and doubles as a meeting place for the 20-25 volunteers we are lucky to have at this location. This community garden also has a large raised fruit bush garden designed to accommodate the growing need for fruit and 10 small but mighty fruit trees.

Earl Haig Site Plan

Future plans for this garden as it continues to succeed with volunteers and community involvement includes new signage and pathways. We are currently working hard to develop a plan for a shade shelter on site as well. Click to view Cedarland Site Plan (PDF Format)
