Road lines and symbols updates to commence August 12, 2018

In an effort to make our roadways safer for drivers, beginning overnight on Sunday, August 12, the City of Brantford will initiate a project to update roadway lines and symbols throughout the community, starting with the city’s main arteries.

The paint trucks and accompanying pick up trucks will require space on the main roads so we ask drivers to avoid crossing the lines in close proximity to the trucks as much as possible.

In residential areas, cones will be used to notify drivers that arrows, stop bars or pedestrian crossings have been painted. Please exercise caution around paint crews to ensure their and your safety.

Pending weather conditions, the process is expected to take approximately 4-6 weeks.

For more information regarding this project please call the City’s Customer Contact Centre at 519-759-4150.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to make necessary improvements to the roads in our community.
