Brantford Transit Terminal Renovation to begin October 18, 2017 

In an effort to improve our services, please be advised that beginning Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 the City’s Transit Terminal located at 64 Darling Street will undergo renovations to implement a series of building enhancements

  • Accessibility upgrades to the main floor washrooms and public service areas
  • Reconfiguring the overall layout to improvement functionality and the passenger experience
  • Replacement of interior and exterior finishes and components
  • Upgrades to base building systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical

Please note there will be NO service interruptions during the construction period while all Brantford Transit routes regular schedules will be maintained.

While routes will not change, there will be platform changes with respect to drop off and pick up locations at the Terminal beginning Wednesday October 18th. Signs will be posted to direct riders, and Inspectors will be on the platform to assist passengers.

Beginning October 28th, trailers will be onsite, as starting on that date the existing Terminal will be closed to the public.

Renovations are expected to be complete in January 2018.
