Brantford's Fun Fest in Harmony Square

Join us in the heart of downtown Brantford at Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street) on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  From whimsical rides to delicious treats and a spectacular firework display, there's something for everyone to enjoy. All activities are weather permitting.

DJ Skate Party 

Get movin' and groovin' to the beats at the DJ Skate Party. Registration is required onsite prior to skating. 

Retro Rollers skate rentals are available to rent on-site for $10.00 per pair, or you can bring your own. Debit and credit will be accepted. Sizes range from J12 to adult size 15.

Roller Rink Rules:

  • Helmets and safety gear are strongly recommended
  • Roller skaters must all skate in the same direction as others at all times.
  • Please refrain from carrying your child on the roller rink
  • Extreme speed/racing while roller skating is not permitted
  • No food and drink allowed on the roller rink
  • Headsets, cell phones and handheld electronic devices are not permitted
  • No horseplay, games or sports permitted
  • Stunts, tricks and/or roller skating backwards is not permitted

Carousel rides

Enjoy a spin on this classic carnival ride, perfect for littles ones and the young at heart.

S'mores station

Warm up and indulge in the classic campfire treat at our s'mores station, while supplies last.

Warm up with free hot chocolate compliments of Conestoga College, while supplies last.

Horse-drawn trolley rides ($2 per person)

Take a charming ride through downtown on this whimsical trolley experience. Purchase tickets at the Harmony Square main office or at One Market (1 Market Street) the day of the event. Sponsored by Grissin Bon Ltd.

Spectacular fireworks display

Wrap up the day with a dazzling fireworks display lighting up the downtown sky.

Wilfrid Laurier University Purple and Gold Party

As part of Brantford’s Fun Fest, and in celebration of Wilfrid Laurier University 25th anniversary in Brantford, guests are also invited to enjoy a Purple and Gold Party in the One Market building located at 1 Market Street. From 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., this family-friendly event will feature free, fun activities for all ages, including bouncy castles, face painting, games such as giant Jenga and Connect 4, corn hole, mini-putt, entertainment, and complimentary cupcakes, while supplies last. Guests are asked to enter through the doors at the corner of Dalhousie Street and Market Street.

Downtown road closures and parking

Downtown road closures will be in effect for the community to enjoy the event.  Please check for road closures before heading downtown. Parking is free in the municipal parking garage located at 59 Icomm Drive.

  • Colborne Street from Brant Avenue to Bain Street and Water Street/Wharfe Street will be closed from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
